Entry, tent seats and reservations are three different things
The main grounds and tents are free to enter; there is no general festival ticket. A table reservation is a separate booking and does not represent admission to the grounds. Many seats are not reservable, but a tent can close its doors when full, especially at busy times.
A Maß is a one-litre glass, not a US pint or UK pint. You can order non-alcoholic drinks and food too. Drink at your own pace and do not assume every menu price or service charge follows the habits of a home venue.
