Before you need it
Make one meeting point and save the Service Center
The Theresienwiese Service Center is the central place for police, festival management, first aid and other visitor support. Agree on a meeting point with your group before entering, and save the name of your first tent on your phone. A clear plan is easier to use than trying to describe a moving crowd.
The official visitor FAQ also lists a children’s lost-and-found service, as well as changing and breastfeeding areas. If a child is separated from a parent, go directly to staff or the Service Center instead of searching alone through the grounds.
Water and first aid
Use the fountains and ask early
The 2026 visitor information lists ten free drinking-water fountains on the grounds. Bring a suitable way to drink from them if useful, but remember that drinks are not allowed inside tents or beer gardens. Water is a practical pause between food, music and alcohol.
First-aid stations are listed at the Theresienwiese Service Center, Esperantoplatz, the northern end of Schaustellerstraße and Street 6 of the Oide Wiesn. Locations or access may be managed differently on a busy day, so follow staff directions.
When someone feels unsafe
Support is a normal part of the festival plan
The Safe Space behind Schottenhamel supports women and girls who experience harassment, theft or lose contact with their group. A cab can also be ordered there. You do not need to wait until a situation becomes dramatic before asking for help.
If someone is hard to wake, injured, confused, unable to stand safely or at risk of being left alone, alert security, staff or first aid immediately. Do not film them, and do not send an unwell person away alone.
